Indications
1.Prophylaxis of depression, associated with seasonal affective disorder.
2.Treatment of major depressive disorder.

Contraindications and precautions
1.Do not use if you had an allergic reaction to this medication or its components.
2.Use this medication cautiously in pregnant women and lactating women.
3.Avoid or abstain from alcohol consumption during treatment because it may affect the treatment, and increase the risk of convulsion, or cause harm.
4.Use this medication cautiously in patients with renal or hepatic impairment.
5.Use this medication cautiously in patients with schizophrenia because it may increase the risk of suicidal ideation and behavior.
6.Do not take Bupropion if you are currently taking certain medicines because it may affect the treatment, or increase the risk of convulsion, or cause harm such as:
- medicines for schizophrenia, antidepressants
- hypnotic drugs, medicines for mood disorder
- antimalarial drugs
- oral corticosteroids
- Theophylline
- Tramadol
- Fluoroquinolones
- certain type of antihistamines
- medicines for epilepsy e.g. Carbamazepine, Phenytoin, Valproate
- antiviral drugs e.g. Ritonavir, Efavirenz
- medicines for Parkinson's disease e.g. Amantadine, Levodopa, Orphenadrine

Recommendations of drug use
Swallow the tablet whole. Do not divide, chew or crush the tablet.
Try to take Bupropion at the same time each day.
If you miss the dose, skip the missed dose and return to your normal dosing. Do not double a dose under any circumstances.
Do not take more or less than instructed by your doctor. Do not stop taking it unless instructed by your doctor or pharmacist.
Always notify the doctor and pharmacist if you are taking any other medicines.
