Contraindications, warnings and precautions

1.Do not use if you are allergic to any components of this product.

2.There is no specific information comparing use of this medicine in children and geriatric with use in other age groups.

How to Apply Eye Ointment

 1.Wash your hands with soap and water. Remove the cap from the tube.

2.Tilt your head back a little. Using one finger or your knuckle, pull the lower lid of your eye down to form a pocket. 

3.Squeeze the tube so a thin line of ointment is applied in the pocket of your lower eyelid. Take care not to touch your eyelids, fingers or any other surfaces with the tip of the ointment tube.

4.Close your eye and then blink a few times to spread the ointment around the inside of your eye. Replace the cap on the tube.  

 

Precautions and Additional Information

-If you need to use 2 eye ointments, wait 10 minutes before you apply the second eye ointment.

-If you use both drops and ointment, always use the drops first, then wait 10 minutes before applying the ointment.

-Do not use anyone else's eye ointment.

-Your vision will be blurred for about 5–10 minutes after each time you use the ointment. Do NOT drive or operate machinery until you can see clearly again.

-Do not wear contact lenses until you have finished the duration of treatment.

-Avoid touching the tip of the tube against your eye.

-Most eye ointments expire 4 weeks after first opening. Do not keep for longer than the expiry date.   Click to listen highlighted text! Drug Storage

-Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light. Keep from freezing.
