Indication
It is antiretroviral drug indicated for the treatment of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infected adults and adolescents above 12 years of age weighing at least 40 kg. Contraindications and precautions
1.Do not use in the patients with a history of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
2.Co-administration with dofetilide (antiarrhythmic agent) is contraindicated.

Adverse Reactions
1.Very common (≥10%): This medication may cause headache, nausea, diarrhea.
2.Common (≥1%): This medication may cause insomnia, abnormal dreams, depression, dizziness, vomiting, flatulence, upper abdominal pain, stomachache, abdominal discomfort, rash, pruritus, fatigue, Alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and/or Aspartate aminotransferase (AST) elevations, Creatine phosphokinase (CPK) elevations.
3.Uncommon (<1%): This medication may cause hypersensitivity reaction (such as: severe rash, or rash accompanied by raised liver enzymes), hepatitis, suicidal ideation (particularly in patients with a pre-existing history of depression or psychiatric illness.)
