Contraindications and precautions
1.Do not use if you had an allergic reaction to the medication or its components.
2.Antacids that contain aluminum hydroxide should be avoided for 4 hours following ethambutol administration.
3.Do not use in patients with optic neuritis.
4.Avoid using this medication in young children who are inability to appreciate and report visual side effects or changes in vision.
