Indications
- Prevent anemia, prevent folate deficiency in pregnant women, patients with chronic disease, and children.
- Treat megaloblastic anemia.

Contraindications and precautions
- Do not use if you had an allergic reaction to folic acid products.
- Folic acid doses above 0.1 mg/day may obscure pernicious anemia in some patients.
