Contraindications and precautions
- Do not use if you had an allergic reaction to this medication or its components.
- Use with caution in patients who have cough accompanied by too much mucus; use is not recommended.
- It is not recommended to use in patients who have cough, chronic or persistent, accompanying a disease state (eg, asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, smoking).
