Nicotine chewing gum 2 mg (NICOMILD-2)
Indications
1.Aid in the treatment of smoking cessation.
2.Reduce the cravings to smoke.

Contraindications and precautions
1.Do not use in patients with history of hypersensitivity to Nicotine or any components of this product.
2.Do not use in non-smokers.
3.Do not use in patients with gastrointestinal ulcer, esophagitis, jaw pain or inflammation.
4.Do not use in patients with severe myocardial ischemia, and arrhythmia, or acute myocardial infarction in the last 2 weeks.
5.Do not use in pregnant women. Avoid using this medication in lactating women.
6.Do not use in children under 12 years of age.
7.Use this medication cautiously if you have these conditions:
- wearing dentures
- cardiovascular disease
- cerebrovascular accident
- peripheral vascular disease
- hypertension
- diabetes
- hepatic impairment
- renal impairment
- hyperthyroidism
- epilepsy (fits or seizures)
- pheochromocytoma (a tumor of the adrenal gland)
- myasthenia gravis
8.You should not use this medication together with some medicines such as:
Theophylline, Clozapine, Ropinirole, Tacrine, Insulin, Imipramine, Olanzapine, Clomipramine, Fluvoxamine, Phenacetin, Caffeine, Pentazocine, Propoxyphene

Recommendations of drug use
Stop smoking immediately or within 2 weeks after beginning using this medicine because smoking during therapy makes you get more Nicotine so it could be harmful.
If you want to have surgery or see a dentist, you should inform your physician or dentist about use of this medication.
You should always carry this medication with you in order to take it when you want to smoke.
Take this medication whenever there is an urge to smoke only.
How To Take the Medication - Chew the gum slowly until you feel tingling or taste a peppery flavor. Move it to the inside of your cheek until the tingling goes away. Chew it a few more times until the tingling returns, then move it to your other cheek or a different place in your mouth. Repeat this until the tingling stops, usually after about 30 minutes.
- Wrap any used gum in a paper towel and throw it away.
- Patients using Nicotine gum should not drink acidic drinks such as coffee, fruits juice, or mineral water within 15 minutes before taking gum because it could result in decreased drug absorption.

Adverse Reactions
This medication may cause dizziness, headache, insomnia, nightmare, nausea, upset stomach, hiccups, jaw pain, mouth (e.g. aphthous ulceration) and throat irritation, rash, pruritus, skin irritation, diarrhea.

If you develop these symptoms such as: swelling in the face, eyelids, lips, urticaria, syncope, chest tightness, trouble breathing, erythematous rash, the blistering, peeling skin rash, bruising, or abnormal bleeding, palpitation, fast, slow, pounding, or uneven heartbeat, muscle weakness, changes of consciousness, convulsion, fainting, severe nausea, severe vomiting, severe diarrhea, severe stomachache, changes in vision, hearing, or sensation,
