Contraindications and precautions
1.This medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of clinically significant hypersensitivity to Phenobarbital or to any of the excipients.
2.Do not use this medication in patients with severe hepatic impairment and patients with respiratory disease.
3.Use this medication cautiously in pregnant women or lactating women as safety data are not established.
4.Use this medication cautiously with alcoholic beverages because it may cause drug toxicity.
5.Use this medication cautiously together with contraceptives, Corticosteroids, Warfarin, Griseofulvin, Doxycycline, Phenytoin, Valproic acid. Click to listen highlighted text! Recommendations of drug use
This medication should be used according to medical advice of physician or pharmacist strictly. Do not increase, reduce the dosage or stop taking the medication without the physician's order.
If you miss the dose, take the dose as soon as possible after realizing you missed it. If you're getting close to the next dose, skip the dose and take the next dose at its regular time. Adverse Reactions
This medication may cause dizziness, drowsiness, headache, confusion, insomnia, agitation, nausea, vomiting, constipation, osteoporosis.
If you take medication and these symptoms occur such as: yellowing of the skin or the eyes, hallucination, nystagmus, you should inform your physician.
If the symptoms of suspected hypersensitivity reactions occur (such as swelling in the face, eyelids, lips, urticaria, erythematous rash),
