Indications
Non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAIDs) for topical use.

Contraindications and precautions
1.Do not use if you had an allergic reaction to Piroxicam, gel, Aspirin, and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents.
2.Do not use in patients in whom aspirin and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents induce the symptoms of asthma, nasal polyps, angioneurotic oedema or urticaria.
3.Avoid the use of topical piroxicam in pregnant women and lactating women.
4.It is not suitable for use in children under 12 years of age. Click to listen highlighted text! Adverse Reactions
1.This medication may cause skin reactions. If application site irritation occur,
the medication should be discontinued and seek medical advice immediately.
2.The adverse reactions are often local irritation. The severity is usually mild to moderate such as erythema, eczema, etc.
3.The prolonged use of the topical use can cause systemic side effects like the oral use such as increased risk of abnormalities of platelet or cardiovascular system.
