Indications

1.Reduce levels of cholesterol in the blood.

Contraindications and precautions

1.Do not use if you had an allergic reaction to medication or its components.

2.Do not use in patients with impaired hepatic function or elevated liver enzyme.

3.Do not use in pregnant women, or planning to get pregnant, lactating women because this medication may cause fetal harm to the baby.

4.Avoid using this medication in patients with impaired hepatic function or impaired renal function, myopathy, and substantial alcohol consumption.

If you have any of these conditions, you should inform your physician.

5.Concomitant use with other drugs may result in drug-drug interactions. You should take counsel with physicians or pharmacists.   Click to listen highlighted text! 2.Cholesterol management programme should include regular exercise and a diet control under the supervision of the physician for effective treatment.

3.If you miss a dose of an oral medication, take the dose as soon as possible after realizing you missed it. If it's over 12 hours, skip the dose and take the next dose at its regular time. You should take counsel with your physician or pharmacist. It may not be necessary to discontinue the medication immediately.

2.If abnormal symptoms occur (such as muscle weakness, unusual muscle pain, dark coloured urine, signs of hepatitis e.g. loss of appetite, yellowing of the skin or the eyes),
