Clobetasol propionate 0.05% (DELACOR)
Indications
- Treatment of dermatosis especially for short-term treatment which does not respond satisfactorily to less active steroid.
- Treatment of chronic eczema.
- Treatment of plaque psoriasis.

Contraindications and precautions
- Do not use if you had an allergic reaction to Clobetasol or any other steroids.
- Do not use in patients with scalp infection.
- Do not use in children under 1 year of age.
- Do not apply on acne, perioral dermatitis, primary cutaneous viral infection; bacterial, fungal infected skin lesions. Click to listen highlighted text! Recommendations of drug use
- Apply on the affected area 1-2 times a day until improvement occurs, and discontinue use when dermatosis is controlled.
- If you need to use for a long time, use beyond 2 weeks or more than 50 grams per week is not recommended.
- Avoid contact with face, axillae, or groin.
- Do not use bandages, wraps, or other occlusive dressings over the treatment area.
- You may discontinue use once psoriasis is controlled.

This medication may cause adverse effects such as: acne, urticaria, cutaneous drug eruption, skin irritation, burning sensation, erythema and swelling, eczema, dry skin, or atrophic condition of skin.
